Nat Finkelstein, 1933-2009
Photographer Nat Finkelstein died last Friday. He was best known for his documentation of Andy Warhol's factory scene in the 1960s. Finkelstein was responsible for many iconic images from the period, including this classic shot of Edie Sedgwick with The Velvet Underground:

"Girl Dancing" is from 1965, at Paraphernalia opening. It was a fashion boutique runned by fashion designer Betsey Johnson in Nyc in the 60's. The Velvet Underground were playing at this opening and Warhol made the deco...
PS: I collaborated with Nat Finkelstein from 2001 to 2006 and I know almost his archives by heart.
